Bluebonnet Voting

Throughout the school year students have been reading different Bluebonnet books. Last week they got to go to the library and vote on their favorite Bluebonnet book. The Uglified Ducky was the winner. Be sure to ask your child about their vote.

Compliments Reward #2

We earned another classroom reward for receiving class compliments on our behavior. Pajama day was chosen again. GOOD JOB!

Frisco Heritage Museum

Wednesday, Jan. 12 third grade went to the Frisco Heritage Museum. We had a great time. We got to check out a beauty salon.

We learned about talking on a party line.

We learned about the first railroad in Frisco.

Luke was the first person in our tour guide's 3 year history to even come close to guessing the name of this item. (If you see Luke, you'll have to ask him what it is!)

They enjoyed watching an old movie clip in the theater.

Their favorite part was getting to go into the old school house and find out what a day was like in the life of a child at that time.

The kids enjoyed getting to print something on the printing press.

They recognized the Model T car we read about in a reading TAKS passage.

They weren't too crazy about a black and white TV with limited channels and no remote control!

SNOW!!!

January 9, 2011 ... It's snowing! First snow of 2011. Hope you are all having fun playing in the snow. If you take pictures, be sure to send them to us!

3rd Grade Performance
